Ryan, I think you may have misread what Geoff was saying. I agree with you that we can’t all have the great, satisfying jobs that pay well. But I felt Geoff was saying some jobs aren’t worth losing our dignity over either.

Duly noted. But you seem to be substituting being treated with dignity with the desire to be fulfilled and satisfied. I’m writing specifically about being treated poorly, on purpose, and allowing cash to be the “equalizer”.

I suggest it’s not worth it.

I have to say I’m getting sick of this sentiment. Of course it’s great if we all could find that fulfilling and satisfying job that pays us fairly but it’s not possible. Would we have garbagemen if we all followed this BS line of advice?
